Blumenauer and Wu were among the majority of 108 Dems who voted against the Boehmer-Obama deal to cut mainly social spending, DeFazio and Schrader joined 179 Repubs to vote for it. Boehmer needed their votes need their and 38 other Dem votes to pass the bill (which got an extra 41 Dem votes).
