85.3% Of Voting SEIU Local 503 Members Ratify Higher Ed Contract

Members of SEIU Local 503 working at Oregon’s seven public university campuses have voted to ratify the tentative settlement for the 2011-13 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Voting by mail ballot, the largest turnout in recent memory voted yes by 85.3% to 14.7%. New contracts will be made available online and through organizers as soon as the proof-reading and signing process is complete.
