NO SWEETHEART TRADE DEALS FOR WALL STREET

As early as Tuesday, Oct 11, Congress will vote on the Korea, Colombia and Panama Free Trade Agreements — corporate trade pacts that benefit Wall Street executives, tax evaders and transnational corporations at the expense of working people and the environment at home and abroad.
  • The Korea deal is the biggest of its kind since NAFTA, and threatens hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs
  • The Colombia deal rewards human rights violators in the deadliest country in the world for labor activists
  • The Panama deal is about locking in banking secrecy laws that help big corporations and rich people evade paying their taxes
You can make a difference:
  • Attend the emergency briefing followed by a mobile phone bank at the Occupy Salem site!!! and
  • Call your U.S. Representative, Congressman Kurt Schrader, now and urge him to vote NO.
