The Zizek piece on a new beginning is excellent. In it, he's doing what a radical left intellectual should be doing--analyzing the situation as it is now, and then showing the way forward, the next step--which is not an easy or simple step, but certainly do-able. I strongly recommend careful reading of this brief article from ITT and attending to its formulations and suggestions, in order to move forward.
