Description: Nationally known journalist David Barsamian will visit six Oregon towns with his latest books Occupy the Economy co-authored with economist Richard Wolff and How the World Works with Noam Chomsky. According to Barsamian, “OWS has changed our vocabulary. 1% and 99% have entered the conversation and the focus is on the deep political, economic and social inequality in the U.S. and around the world.”
David Barsamian is the founder and director of Alternative Radio, the independent weekly audio series based in Boulder, Colorado, a nationally syndicated program carried by 125 radio stations. His work has helped change the media landscape in North America.
