This week Basic Rights Oregon took an exciting and historic step toward winning the freedom to marry for all Oregonians, forming Oregon United for Marriage. This group was created to unite individuals and organizations who will work together to win the freedom to marry for same-sex couples in Oregon.
And later this week across the state, Oregon United for Marriage will begin gathering the first sponsorship signatures for a November 2014 ballot measure. Join us in Salem on Valentine's Day (which is also Oregon's birthday!), to be among the first to officially sign the petition!
