Friday, April 26 to April 28
Arab Spring Conference

Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights (SUPER) in conjunction with the PDX BDS Coalition are really excited to provide a venue for a West Coast Regional BDS Convergence. It would be amazing to see you all there as things are speeding up in our daily efforts and truly exciting progress is being made. SUPER's 2nd Arab Spring Conference at PSU (April 26-28th) will include an afternoon convergence for all of us to meet each other, share challenges, tactics and plan strategically for the future. It will most likely be on Saturday April 27th from lunchtime until mid afternoon but this is subject to change.

We are in the midst of planning an exciting set of panels, films and cultural events surrounding the current events in the Arab World (more to come). It would be great if each group could at least send 3-5 representatives so that we have a lively debate and dialogue. We are also hoping to have some sort of action during the weekend while our numbers are large. Please RSVP as soon as you can to pdxbds@gmail.com. We will be trying to set up some home stays (couches, spare bedrooms, floorspace) for folks that don't have the money for hotels/hostels in town that weekend. So when you respond please let us know if you would like to be matched up for a home stay and where you are coming from and if you have any requirements regarding your match (gender/pets/sleeping arrangements etc...)
Also-please pass this along to trusted listservs as we might not have gotten everyone! Thank you
-BDS Coalition
