PORTLAND: Freedom Sailors: The Maiden Voyage of the Free Gaza Movement and How We Succeeded in Spite of Ourselves

Come and hear an inspiring and uplifting story by Bill Dienst, M.D., co-editor of “Freedom Sailors: The Maiden Voyage of the Free Gaza Movement and How We Succeeded in Spite of Ourselves” (2012). He will tell how forty-four intrepid passengers broke through Israel’s illegal blockade on Gaza in August 2008.

The two boats, the Free Gaza and the Liberty, sailed into port on Aug. 23, 2008
