hearings, where we can tell the City Council what is important to our
communities. Speak out against cuts to city services and layoffs!
Hearing starts at 6.30. Come at 6.00pm to sign up for testimonials and/or to show a presence as community members arrive.

Thursday May 23rd, 5.30pm – 7.30pm. This Is Our Movement.
Hilton Hotel, 301 W 6th St, Vancouver WA. A panel event organized by
the AFGE on the history and current crucial importance of the labor
movement. Aimed at students and young workers but all are welcome!

Bill Fletcher, well-known social movement theorist and activist, will be speaking at the Red Lion Inn on Market St in Salem at 1.30pm on Sunday May 19th and at The Hilton Hotel in Vancouver WA at 5.30pm on Tuesday May 21st.
